Full

i was reading
well, i was reading and eating  
wasn't paying attention to what i was eating
or more specifically how much
until i turned to page 673
the start of chaper 27
i suddenly realized i was full
painfully full
the kind of full where it might seem logical
to hang my tongue out of my mouth
to make more room in my body for the fullness
so full that there was no place for the food to go
if i swallowed the last bite
so i didn't
the food just sat there, in my mouth
but became hard to breathe
so i swallowed and was glad i didn't explode
it would not be good to explode in the dc
the food is unappetizing enough
without seeing bits of me landing in the your plate
so unexploded, i closed the book and left
well more like carefully waddled out
so the lesson to be learned
don't read and eat
it's a good thing i can't read in the shower
i might drown
